Just a 10 minute ferry ride from the mainland and you can step back in time. Leave your cares and worries behind and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this beautiful island. Just over 10 miles in circumference, it has something for everyone - from active pursuits such as sailing, diving and cycling to more relaxed activities like bird watching, painting and just lazing on one of the many beaches.

Caledonian MacBrayne (CalMac) operate the short ferry crossing from Largs to the Isle of Cumbrae. Times vary from every 15 minutes in the summer months to every hour in winter. For full details of times and charges check out the CalMac web site
