Stuart & Jane welcome you to Westbourne House, which is situated just a few minutes walk from the town of Millport on the peaceful Isle of Cumbrae, with uninterrupted views across the Firth of Clyde to the magnificent backdrop of the mountains of the Isle of Arran.

The words Bed and Breakfast can conjure up many images from a bygone era, out at 10.00 and in at 10.00 pm, bumping into the owners in your nightie, sharing a breakfast table, but not at Westbourne House, you have your own key and are free to come and go as you please.

At Westbourne, guests no longer share the house with the owners, giving the atmosphere of a small Hotel

Also available for hire Static Caravans and Orchard Cottage if wishing to choose the self catering option.

Westbourne House is lovingly cared for by us to be enjoyed by you!!

Just a 10 minute ferry ride from the mainland, you can step back in time. To one of the best places to leave your cares and worries behind, enjoy the peace and tranquility of this beautiful island. Just over 10 miles in circumference, it has something for everyone - from active pursuits at the water sports centre such as  dinghy sailing, cruising, windsurfing and sea kayaking. The Isle of Cumbrae also offers cycling, bowling and a very scenic golf course, or more relaxed activities like bird watching, painting or just lazing on one of the many beaches to sit and watch the ever changing view. Visit the Cathedral of the Isles, the second smallest in Europe or take a sail on the Waverley, the world's last ocean going paddle steamer.

Newton Beach has been awarded a seaside award by Keep Scotland Beautiful

and appears to be the only beach to receive an award on the whole of the Clyde.
