Things to do in Millport and the Isle of Cumbrae
Situated just a few minutes walk from the town of Millport on the peaceful Isle of Cumbrae, Westbourne House Caravan Park offers uninterrupted views across the Firth of Clyde to the magnificent mountains of the Isle of Arran.
10 Minute Ferry Ride from the Mainland
Just a 10 minute ferry ride from the mainland, you can step back in time and leave your cares and worries behind.
Just over 10 miles in circumference, the island has something for everyone: from active pursuits such as windsurfing and sea kayaking, cycling, bowling and a very scenic golf course, to more relaxed activities like bird watching, painting or just lazing on one of the many beaches to sit and admire the ever-changing view.
Visit the Cathedral of The Isles, the second smallest in Europe or take a sail on the Waverley, the world's last ocean going paddle steamer. Newton Beach has been awarded a seaside award by Keep Scotland Beautiful and appears to be the only beach to have received an award on the whole of the Clyde.
